Vintage Francisco Gallusci Coat Bespoke For Composer Lalo...
This magnificent vintage coat was bespoke for composer Lalo Schifrin by Francesco Galluschi. Judging be the lapels, probably sometime in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Alluding to the English countryside, it is also perfectly at home in Southern California, where it may have been made and where I acquired it. It includes some wonderful details on the patch pockets as well as a back yoke, a functional button on the center vent, and a back belt. It is in excellent vintage condition, very much wearable today. Back when it fit me, I typically wore a US size 38 regular coat. Sadly I have outgrown it and have decided to part with it. Mr. Schifrin was a talented Argentine-American musician and a prolific composer for film, probably best known for the Mission Impossible theme. He died in june, 2025.
